10th Annual Buses By The Beach Bus Benefit
My favorite event of the year is Bus Benefit, put on by Buses By The Beach. We have been attending this event for 8 years now. Here are just a few pictures of us at the event. You can find a slew of photos and information on the Buses By The Beach Facebook page.

This whole field was filled up and there were several more Buses tucked away in the Woodlands.
This is Jason Spaulding, owner of Brewery Vivant. He was one of the sponsors of the event and provided lots of beer for all of us to enjoy. VAN VAN was used as a Beer Truck for the event. :)

An afternoon cruise out to my folks house
My folks just got back from Florida, so we packed up the Bus and headed out to see them. It was a great day for a ride.
My oldest son hung out in back and snapped a few pics while we were on our way.
Then he fell asleep. Night, night big guy.

Rainy, Cold Weekends
Rainy, cold weekends are made for working on your bus. This weekend, I will attempt to adjust the brakes on VAN VAN. Currently, when I step on the brake pedal, the pedal goes too far toward the floor for my comfort level. And, if I stomp hard, it pulls to the left, into oncoming traffic. After pumping the brakes, it doesn't go as far down and doesn't pull as much. I'm hopeful that, with a little adjustment, I can resolve that issue. But while I'm at it, I'll inspect everything and try to determine if a full brake job is necessary. I need those brakes to do their job and keep me and the fam safe! I'm hoping for the best.

The Kids Playing in their new "Clubhouse"
So, I can't seem to keep the kids out of VAN VAN.
They want to "help" so bad! Who am I kidding? This is going to be the neighborhood clubhouse.
So ready to get out camping! Only 4 weeks until Bus Benefit!
